Overview
Bursa was the first of the Ottoman Empire and historically referred to as "Green Bursa" because of it's beautiful green parks and gardens. Bursa is situated in the foothills of Mt. Uludağ near the Sea of Marmara and is well known for it's many mosques and historical sites from the Ottoman Empire.
Tour starts early morning where you are picked up from your Istanbul hotel and taken to the ferry port for a ride across the Seaof Marmara where you can enjoy the Beautiful scenery. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before a cable car ride to the top of Mt. Uludağ better knwon as the legendary Mt. Olympos.
The tour also visits: Yeşil Camii (The Green Mosque), Yeşil Turbe (The Green Mausoleum), The old silk market in the Covered Bazaar and the Inkaya Plane tree.
